Pour Forth Thy Soul

It was just a simple country house, rented by the week. Surrounded by endless fields of cornflowers, cut through their center by the small and winding path that leads from the road. This, they thought, would be the place. After all, some things are transformed simply in the dreaming of them.  Pour Forth Thy Soul is a supplement for Good Society about five members of a poetry club, who rent a house in the country together for one month. Each has pressures and dissatisfactions in the life they left behind, and each knows they must return to them. But for one month they are here, to write poetry and fall in love, to lie in grass under evening stars and drink to the beauty of simply being.

• Tone: Gentle, heartfelt and slice-of-life, full of yearning and self-discovery
• Ideal game length: 4-8 sessions
• Main rules changes: Country house collaboration, weather interludes, a mini passage of time, and poetry
